Viewing Your Tips and Payouts

This guide shows you how to view your detailed tip and payout reporting on JustTip, including how much your business collected in a given week, how your hours worked were recorded, and what your individual allocation came to.

In short: Log in to your employee dashboard, find Recent Payouts and click See All. Click any week to see what your business collected, your shifts, and your share.

See your tips and payouts

  1. Go to justtip.net (or justtip.co.uk if you are in the UK) and select the menu icon in the top-left corner of the homepage.
  2. Click Login, then select JustTip™ Employee Login from the drop-down.
  3. Enter your email address and password on the Employee Dashboard login screen, then click Log In.
  4. On your dashboard, find the Recent Payouts card and click See All.
  5. You are taken to the Transactions page, which lists every pay period. Click any week to open its full breakdown.

What the breakdown shows

  • Pay Period: the start and end date of the working week the report covers.
  • Total Tips Collected By The Business: all tips collected across the business that week, broken down by how the tip was given: Fixed, Flex, QR and JustPOS.
  • Hours Worked: a day by day view of the week, showing the days you worked (ticked) and the days you did not (crossed out), with your total hours for the week.
  • Your Split: your share of that week's tips, shown in green. This is the amount paid to you for that period.

How your split is worked out

Your share depends on how your venue splits its tips. Depending on the set-up, it may be based on:

  • the days you were on shift, with an equal share for everyone working that day
  • the hours you worked, compared with the rest of the team
  • a set percentage for each staff group, such as front of house and back of house
  • in the UK, tronc points set for your role

So your split can be smaller in a week when the business collected a lot, if more of the team was working. To see which method your venue uses, ask your manager or see Tip Splitting Options.

If that did not work

If a payout is missing from the list, go to Where Are My Tips? Start Here. If your hours or days look wrong, ask your manager to check the roster for that week.
