Tip Splitting Options

In short: JustTip can split your tips in several ways: equally between everyone who worked each day, by hours worked each day, by hours worked across the week, or with the Monthly roster type. You can also split tips between staff groups, such as front and back of house. Pick the question below that matches what you want to do.

What is happening?

• "I want everyone who worked on a day to get an equal share of that day's tips." See Roster Type: Daily Basic.

• "I want the whole week's tips shared by the hours people worked that week." See Roster Type: Weekly.
• "We run our roster by the month." See Roster Type: Monthly.

Whichever option you choose, set it out in your tipping policy so your team knows how tips are shared.
