Two Factor and One Time Codes

In short: Two factor authentication is on for every JustTip account. When you log in, you enter your password and then a 6 digit code, either from your authenticator app or from an email we send you.

Who this is for: Everyone. UK and Ireland.

Log in with a code from your authenticator app

1. Enter your email and password as usual.
2. Open your authenticator app (for example Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or Authy) to get your login code.
3. Enter the 6 digit code to finish logging in.

You may be offered the option to skip the code on your device for a short time.

Log in with a one time password sent by email

Sometimes you will be asked for a One Time Password (OTP) instead.

1. Check your inbox for an email from JustTip with your 6 digit One Time Password.
2. Enter the code on the login page.

If you have a new phone or have removed your authenticator app

1. Go to My Profile > Reset My MFA.
2. Click Reset Authenticator App.
3. Choose Yes, Reset to continue, or Cancel to keep your current set up.
4. Scan the QR code, or set up your authenticator app again.

Keep your authenticator app to hand when you log in, and consider keeping a backup somewhere secure.

If that did not work

• No One Time Password email? Check your spam or junk folder. If it is not there after several minutes, try logging in again to get a new code.
