A Team Member Is Not on the Roster

In short: First check the team member has accepted their invite and created their account. What happens next depends on your country. In the UK, someone who has not verified their identity yet stays on the roster and keeps their share, which is paid once they verify. In Ireland, they are left off the roster, and get no share, until they verify.

Who this is for: Employers. UK and Ireland.

Finding out why someone is missing

  1. Check they are in My Team. Open the My Team tab. If they are not listed, invite them first: Adding Employees to Your Business Account.
  2. Check they accepted the invite. If they are listed but have not created their account, ask them to look for the invite email, including in their junk or spam folder.
  3. Check they have completed verification. Every team member must pass an identity check before we can pay them. Ask them to:
    1. Go to justtip.net (or justtip.co.uk in the UK) and select the menu icon in the top-left corner.
    2. Click Login, then JustTip™ Employee Login.
    3. Enter their email and password, and complete the verification when prompted.
    4. If they have forgotten their password, use the Forgot Password option.

  4. Check the rule for your country. See the two sections below.
  5. If they are verified and still missing, contact us. A team member who has completed every step should appear on your roster. If they do not, tell us before the roster deadline (11:59 PM on Tuesday), with the roster period affected, and we will look into it.

If your business is in the UK

A team member who has not verified yet stays on the roster. Enter their hours as normal. They keep their share, and it is paid to them once they verify. Not being verified only affects when we can pay them, not what they have earned.

If your business is in Ireland

A team member who has not verified yet is left off the roster. They get no share of tips until they verify. Ask them to finish their identity check before the roster deadline (11:59 PM on Tuesday).
