Tronc Billing Information

JustTronc is billed monthly in advance and on a daily prorated basis. This means the billing amount updates automatically based on the number of active service workers each day. An example is shown below: 

A user subscribes with 10 active service workers on 1st May 2025 

First bill: 10 × £8.99 = £89.90 

On 10th May, 5 more workers join the business 

On 11th May at 1:00 a.m., the system updates the subscription on Stripe from 10 to 15 service workers 

Stripe calculates the next billing amount as follows: 

£89.90 ÷ 30 days = £2.996/day for 10 service workers 

New rate: 15 × £8.99 = £134.85, which is £4.495/day 

Next bill will include: 

15 × £8.99 for the full month = £134.85 

Plus a 20-day underpayment adjustment for the 5 additional service workers: 

((15×£8.99)÷30)×20=£89.80

Total for next billing period = £224.75 

A detailed breakdown of fees and charges is available on the JustTip dashboard under the My Subscription tab. All Tronc subscriptions operate on a 30-day rolling contract, unless otherwise specified in a written agreement with JustTip. 

What If My Payment Fails? Is the Payment Platform Secure? 

If your payment fails, you will not be able to access the JustTronc section of the dashboard. You can retry the payment by visiting the Dashboard, where an option to retry payment will be available.
