Tip Splitting Options

1. Daily Basic:

Splits daily collections equally amongst staff who worked that day.  These amounts are totalled for each staff member over the week and paid out the following Wednesday.

• For example, if €100 is collected on Monday, and there are four staff working that day, each staff member will receive €25. 

2. Daily Complex:

Splits daily collections amongst staff who worked that day in proportion to their hours worked. These amounts are totalled for each staff member over the week and paid out the following Wednesday.

• For example, if €100 is collected on Monday, and their are four staff members working that day, two of which worked for 4 hours and two of which worked for 8 hours, the former two staff members will receive €16.67 and the latter two staff members will receive €33.34. 

3. Weekly:

Splits weekly collections amongst staff who worked that week in proportion to their hours worked.

• For example, if €1,000 is collected over the week, the total hours worked by all staff is 400 hours, and one particular staff member worked for 40 hours, this person will be allocated €100 in tips.

4. Direct Allocation

There is another option for customers that don't suit the three pre-defined splitting options listed above. In this case, the weekly total can be allocated one-by-one directly to staff members until the pot has reached €0. 

In this case, the internal csv or word document file used to calculate staff tip allocations is required as an upload to the dashboard to 'justify' your tip allocations. This is required for compliance purposes.
