QR Code Creation Guide
(Including Access Restrictions)
Overview
This guide explains how to create a QR code in JustTip and what to do if you are unable to access the QR Code section.
- How to access the QR Code feature
To begin creating a QR code:
- Go to justtip.net
- Log into your account
- On the left-hand menu, click QR Code
- Creating a QR code
If your account has access, click Create QR Code at the top of the page to open the QR creation form.
You will then see a form with fillable fields (text boxes) and tickable options (checkboxes).
- Fillable fields (you must type these in)
These are text input boxes where you need to enter information:
- QR Code Name → Enter your business name
- Tip Amounts Shown → Add pre-set amounts (e.g. €2, €2.50, €5 separated by commas)
- Customer Message → Message shown before tipping
- Thank You Page Content → Message shown after a successful tip
- Logo Upload → Upload your business logo (if required)
- Tickable options (checkbox settings)
These are options you can enable or disable by ticking a box:
- Collect Customer Feedback → Allows customers to leave a message after tipping
- Customer Covers Transaction Fee → Pushes fees to the customer
- If enabled: customer pays tip + (€0.41 + 5%)
- If disabled: merchant absorbs the (€0.41 + 5%) fee
- One Time Payment → For once-off QR payments (e.g. large event service charge)
- Enable Individual Tipping → Allows you to assign QR codes to specific employees
- Final step
Once everything is filled in and selected:
- Click Add QR Payment Page
- Your QR code will be created successfully
- Downloading your QR code
After creation:
- Go to your QR code list
- Click Manage
- Select Download QR Code
- Print and display it in your venue
- If you see “Contact Support” instead of QR options
In some cases, when clicking on the QR Code section, you may be redirected to a message asking you to contact support.
This means:
- Your account is not yet approved for QR code access
- The feature is currently restricted on your profile
What to do next
Please contact support so we can review and enable QR code access for you.

- Verify your account status
- Enable QR permissions manually
- Confirm your business setup
