My Payout Failed or Was Returned

In short: If your tips payout failed or was returned, your money is not lost. The payment went out, your bank did not accept it, and it came back to us. Once your details are corrected, we pay it again.

Who this is for: Staff. UK and Ireland.

Get your payout paid again

  1. Check your bank details. Log in and compare your details with your bank app or a statement.
  2. Check the name on your account. The name on your JustTip account should match the name on your bank account. Banks check the name of the person being paid, and a mismatch can cause the payment to fail.
  3. Save your changes, then contact us at https://help.justtip.net/en/contact-us so we know to send the payment again.

Why a payout fails

  • The IBAN (Ireland) or the account number and sort code (UK) on your profile is wrong or out of date.
  • The name on your bank account does not match the name on your JustTip account.
  • The account cannot receive this kind of payment.

When will I get paid?

You do not need to wait for the next scheduled payout. This is the same in the UK and Ireland. Once your details are corrected, the payment is sent again, and it usually arrives within 1 to 3 working days of being sent again.

If that did not work
